ABOUT
I am a children's book author/illustrator. My first self-published children's book was selected as a Kickstarter “Project We Love”. I illustrated Hair Like Me that was featured on NBC and HLN, My First Book of Shona and Ndebele Words for the two native languages of Zimbabwe, and A Promise To Grow in partnership with the non-profit City of Promise and the VA Humanities; all of which were independently published books. I have worked with The Writer's Center, the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and various other organizations.
